Research Details

I am currently working in the areas of

  • Network Design & Dimensioning for mobile aggregation networks.

  • Traffic measurements and OS fingerprinting for smartphone devices.

  • Data Redundancy Elimination (DRE) techniques (Deduplication).

I have worked with IBM Research and I am currently a research partner of IBM WebSphere Technology Institute. During my thesis, I have participated on projects funded by Cisco, Time Warner Cable and ITng Institute.

Before joining NC State University, I had collaborated with several researchers from the University of Patras (Greece) and VTT Research Institute (Finland) on Performance Analysis and Simulation of Wireless Networks (WiFI and WiMAX).
