Guidelines for creating a poster and executive summary of your
curriculum project
POSTER
Posters must be at most 6 feet wide and 4 feet high and must be able to stand up on a table (tri-fold boards are highly recommended). You will also have some room on a table to display any textbooks or hands-on materials. Each group should plan on standing by their poster and discussing results with "visitors" for about 1 hour. The details of this will be coordinated later.
A poster is a creative way to display scientific information that uses text, graphs, tables, charts and pictures to present the highlights of a project. It should be designed to (1) catch the viewer's attention, (2) quickly acquaint the viewer with the basics of your project and (3) make the viewer want to stop, talk with you, and learn more!
There will be a rubric developed later for scoring your poster and
presentation.
