I am a PHD candidate at the ECE department at NC State University. My research interest involves the pros and cons of different approaches to enabling code to be executed by a better suited processing element by exploiting the multi-core trend.

I completed my undergraduate study in computer engineering at IAUCTB (Tehran). After working as an intern on the design of digital control systems for AC-motors at the IROST research institute (Karaj) for a year, I went back to school and received my MS in computer architecture from Sharif university of Technology. During the final year of my MS study I worked as a research assistant on the performance modeling of interconnection networks at the IPM research center (northern Tehran).
