TEACHING

I have gained valuable experience during my graduate studies in teaching students. I have conducted several guest lectures and have assisted teaching several graduate and undergraduate courses. In these experiences, I have learned that a professor must lead a class with enthusiasm and passion and be willing to adapt to contemporary methods of information delivery.

In this vein, I have assisted with a Distance Education course in Introductory Plant Pathology using web applications to illustrate plant disease concepts with students via learning modules and conferencing software. I also have designed a course website for teaching turfgrass disease concepts to students interested in turfgrass maintenance.
