Model Comparison
All three models (AVN, NGM,
Eta) were in agreement with keeping the system weak and off shore. With
such agreement, there was little evidence the forecast would be invalid.
By the 12Z run on the 24th,
the Eta model's 00Z forecast had a good handle on the intensity of the
storm.
