Coordinator, 1998- Present: coordinated the review of applicants for the M.S.,
M.C.E. and Ph.D. programs, serve as the prime contact for information requests,
and actively recruit the top applicants. I also coordinate the initial advising
of new students.

Laboratory, 1998-Present: oversee the laboratory operation, replacement,
repair, and upgrading of equipment, upgrade of health and safety plans, and
management of laboratory space.
15. Equipment and Facilities
Committee, 1998-2003 and 2004-Present: participated in specifying the
department laboratory needs and developing five-year plan, development of
status report on equipment, the development of the geotechnical laboratory
needs, procurement of new equipment and upgrades.
16. Undergraduate Student
Advisor, 1998-present: acted as the advisor of undergraduate students entering
the Civil Engineering program, provided up-to-date and accurate guidance to the
CE students in the areas of curriculum, program policy and requirements and
career choices.

the geotechnical program, developed MCE program for professional personnel, and
participated in developing a proposal for offering video-based distance
