The Southeastern Association of Teachers of Japanese (SEATJ) is dedicated to serving the community of Japanese language and culture teachers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and surrounding states.

Program of the Seventeenth Annual Meeting of the SEATJ

The Seventeenth Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Association of Teachers of Japanese (SEATJ) will be held at the College of Charleston, SC, on March 16-17, 2002.  Jessica Haxhi, former president of NCJLT, will give the keynote speech, on K-12 issues.  We welcome proposals for 20-minute papers or presentations on this or other topics.  Please send or email 1-page proposals in Japanese or English, including relevant affiliation and contact information, to Professor Yoshiki Chikuma; Department of Classics, German, Italian, Japanese and Russian; College of Charleston, Charleston, SC 29424-0001.  chikumay@cofc.edu.  Deadline for submissions is January 5, 2002.
