About Me ...

Image Here

My name is Francesca Denice Reale-Levis. I am a mathematics graduate assistant at North Carolina State. I am a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in computational and applied mathematics with a double major in statistics.

I have participated in summer programs at Sandia National Labs, JHU Applied Physics Lab, University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Carnegie Mellon University, and Key Bank. I would like to work as a researcher at a university or lab.

This year I am the Mathematics Graduate Student Association president and the SIAM Student Chapter Treasurer. Why don't you sign up to join as well?!

I take part in a variety of activities. Though cats and birds do not make the best union, I collect cat paraphernalia and decorative birdhouses. I enjoy playing Scrabble, star gazing, hiking, fishing, TV, sports, crafts, and reading. I have been working on my dollhouse for over a decade as well.

My husband, Jim, and I met in the Astronomy Club at Carnegie Mellon. We got married in my hometown Wallkill, Ulster County, NY on May 20, 2006. Jim is studying to be an environmental engineer. We live with a clutter of cats, a troubling (of goldfish), and a school of cichlids.

Please enjoy the pictures, links, and reading material on my site!
