ANNOUNCEMENTS   (UPDATED 4.5.2013)

    April 5:   In lieu of an in-class quiz on Tuesday, You will hand in a two-part assignment to count for your Quiz 7 grade. Part I is due next Tuesday (April 9th) and Part II is due next Thursday (April 11th) at the beginning of class. You can find the assignment instructions and forms here. Please read all instructions carefully.

    March 19:   Tonight's office hours are cancelled, and there will be a substitute for class tonight. The regularly scheduled quiz will take place. Please turn in any extra credit assignments at the beginning of class. Late assignments will not be accepted. You can find lecture notes for Section 7.9 here.

    February 28:   The differential equations extra credit project is available here and is due on Tuesday, March 19 at the beginning of class. Absolutely no exceptions.

    February 8:   The Test 1 correction assignment has been posted. See the course handouts section below for the link.

    January 25:   

  • Turn in the following problems from the text on Tuesday, January 29, to be counted as a quiz grade:
    Section 5.10 #13, 26, 47
    Section 6.1 #11, 12
    Section 6.2 #3, 6, 20
    Section 6.3 #2, 5, 8, 15, 20
  • Test 1 will cover the following sections: 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 (trig subst. and partial fractions), Appendix G, 5.9, 5.10, 6.1 - 6.3.

    January 5:    Submit your 5 blue books to me at the end of class on Tuesday, Jan. 15th.
