ANNOUNCEMENTS   (UPDATED 12.02.2012)

December 2:    The extra credit assignments have been graded and are available for retrieval in my office, SAS 3266. Click here for a subset of the mock exams you created. I chose these based on their appropriate level of difficulty and variation. You may use these for practice as you study for the final exam, but keep in mind that they do not necessarily reflect everything appearing on the actual exam. I have also posted a more detailed version of the exam topics list in the handouts section.

November 27:    Here are the solutions for Exam 4.

November 12:    In light of Engineering Design Day, lecture will begin at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20. Please make note of the change, as new material will be covered.

    November 1:
[1] EXAM #4 HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15.
[2] Update to WebAssign: DO NOT complete 4.8 #17 and 5.1 #3. Instead, compute the Riemann sums R6, L6, and M6 for the function f(x) = -x2 + 4x + 1, and compare your results to the 3-term sums we calculated in lecture. This problem will be collected at the beginning of class on Thursday, November 8.

October 31:    Here are the solutions for Exam 3.

October 30:    Here is the EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENT. It is due Tuesday, November 27 at 3:35 p.m. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS will be allowed.

October 16:   For additional practice with course material, see the link below for Paul's Online Math Notes. The topics covered on the site include step-by-step examples and exercises with solutions. This may be useful as you prepare for Exam #3.

October 9:    Here are the solutions for Exam 2. WebAssign and text references for each exam problem are available from this link.

September 13:   Here are the solutions for Exam 1.

August 26:    Submit your 5 blue books to Emi during class on Thursday, Aug. 30th.

August 22:    If you have purchased a textbook bundle, your access code for Webassign should now work.
