A Bit About Me
I've lived in Seattle for the majority of my life. To answer your question; NO, it does not rain all the time. Only sometimes. Plus, we have gorgeous views of the Cascade Mountains, Mt. Rainier, the Olympics, and the San Juan Islands. I'd definitely recommend visiting. It's beautiful!
I received my BA in mathematics from Whitman College . Whitman is located in Walla Walla, WA, which is a charming little town in the southeastern side of the state and is becoming increasingly more renown for its wine industry. I played varsity volleyball throughout college, and have now switched over to playing outdoor 2's.
After living on both sides of Washington State, I moved to NCSU, where I am currently pursuing a PhD in the statistics department. The picture to the right is from my trip to Senegal with a couple of my good Whittie friends. I'm thoroughly impressed by how strong African women are!!- including when it comes to milking cows. While living here, I've had a great time taking camping trips to the mountains and coast of NC- any recommendations on new places to check out are always very welcome. I'm enjoying getting a chance to live in a new part of the country, and hope to see a little more of the east coast in the coming semester.
