ECE Networking Group Seminar, NC State University

Motivation:

This seminar (or simply gathering of ECE networking reserach students (probably PhD students), plus some faculties), will be totally based on volunteers, and informal in the sense that mandatory atttendance is not required. The idea is to have all the networking research students and some available faculties together and share any research outcomes or any future problems or insights. In this way, I believe, we can find out what other people are doing and also help them extend their research viewpoints in a contructive way.

As there are about 10 to 20 PhD students in the ECE networking group, each of them will have a chance to present just about once a semeseter on what s/he is doing or on any interesting research problems they may have. Of course, any faculty will also be welcome to present.

In addition to the above, this seminar (or gathering + chatting) has many other benefits to all the students: They have more opportunities to present reserach work, or thay can use it as a sort of rehearsal for the presentation in a conference, or final defense, etc.

Ideally, this seminar is going to be totally autonomous and actively participated without any need for supervision. If you want to present, please send me email with topics and slides (if available) so that I can post them here.
