Statement of Purpose
This portfolio highlights my teaching experience in the field of computer science. As a graduate student I had the opportunity to be both a teaching assistant and instructor.
The portfolio includes my teaching philosophy, courses taught, and a section devoted to my professional development in the area of teaching. Each item is described briefly below and includes a link that provides more details. Additionally, you can use the navigational links at the top of every page to traverse between sections.
Philosophy
The philosophy section is devoted to expressing my teaching philosophy. It is the foundation upon which my teaching is based and provides insights into my priorities and values as a teacher.
Courses
The courses section provides an overview of all my classroom teaching experience. For each course I provide a description of the course, a description of my involvement in the course, as well as teaching artifacts that I produced over the duration of the course. For courses in which I was the primary instructor I have also included anonymized student feedback.
Professional Development
The professional development section describes the avenues by which I continue to improve my edificial toolkit. The section addresses my efforts to stay current in the field of computer science as well as develop my skills as a teacher. This section also catalogues my growth as an instructor by illustrating how I've incorporated what I've learned into my classroom.
