RADIO CAR KIT INFO:
Kit is an impact-resistant urethane resin with a 1-piece body and separate underframe and detail parts. Jim King designed
these using CAD from measurements he personally took of these cars before they were scrapped. This piece of history can
now accurately be yours. Whether you're modeling 1966 or 1995, you can now have this car in your mid-train. Bewick
Foundry and Forge built 50 of these cars for the Southern Railway. They lasted until 2003 with the Norfolk Southern. Can
be painted in either scheme. These cars were painted with a third scheme, but to this date, no one makes decals for it.
This is a beginner's kit that anyone can enjoy putting together. Kit building is becoming a lost art, but this kit can help
reignite this craft. This car is unique and will never be done with injection-molded plastic. This will be your only chance to own this unique
car. Only 100 were made. No extras will be made.
I am just a stepping stone; without your help this project is nothing. Thank you all for your interest and support.
PRICE:
All 3R, 3RS, and 2R kits cost the same.
$99.99+shipping per unfinished kit.
$175+shipping per finished model. (Note: $12 extra for NS-finished models due to decal costs)
KIT DETAILS:
To uphold the scale fidelty of this project, the kit was held to 2R standards, but is easily adapted to 3R and 3RS.
