About Me
I earned a BS in Mathematics (summa cum laude) in 1998 and an MS in Physics in 2002, both from NC State University. In between my undergraduate and graduate studies, from 1998 to 1999, I worked as a computer programmer for a small company in Research Triangle Park. The longest continuous segment of my professional career thus far has been at Brunswick Community College, where I taught math and statistics from 2004 to 2011 and served as Chair of the Math & Science Department from 2007 to 2011.

I am currently a Ph.D. student in Applied Mathematics at NCSU, where I am funded as a Research Assistant through the Center for Research in Scientific Computation.
