Brief Background

I am a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Training and Development Program and the coordinator of the Online M.Ed. Program at NC State. I was a 2005 winner of the Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology at NC State and the Outstanding Teacher Award for the College of Education in 2006. I was formerly the coordinator for online instruction at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Public Health. My background is in business and industry with over 25 years experience in training and development. My current research interests include evaluation/assessment of training and online learning, and the evaluation of instructional technology.
