Chris DeRolph

This website is intended to serve as an interactive resume that presents the skills I've acquired through education and professional work experience. I also hope to provide a little insight into how I got to where I am and what I like to do with my free time.

I am currently a graduate student and research assistant at North Carolina State University studying GIS and Remote Sensing and how they can be applied to natural resource management issues. Prior to coming to graduate school, I worked in environmental consulting in New Hampshire and Massachusetts from 2002 to 2007. As a consultant, I worked on assessment and remediation of soil and groundwater pollution. I received a B.S. in Environmental Science from the Ohio State University in 2001. While completing my B.S., I worked as an intern for the watershed assessment sections of state environmental agencies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
