What I am doing in Spring 2008

I am currently working on my third PhD contribution. More specifically, I have designed and implemented an efficient co-allocation algorithm for large-scale distributed systems.  My responsibilities this semester include complete this piece of work by running experiments with real workload traces and publishing the results, finish writing my dissertation and find a R&D position in a Research Lab or Industry.  My short term goal (5 years from now) is to grow my expertise –intellectual and technical-- in the field of large-scale distributed systems.
