- M.S. (Plant Biology) Arizona State University, 1999
Major Advisors: Mike Benson, Kelly Ivors
Research Interests:
I am interested in the interface of soil
microbiology and plant pathology, specifically in the checks and
balances created by the soil microbial community which inhibit the
development of plant diseases caused by soil-borne pathogens. My
current research focuses on the use of various organic amendments and
cultural control methods to inhibit Phytophthora root rot in Fraser fir
production systems.
