Scene 2 - Kim & Jennifer's Dorm
Jennifer and Kim return to their dorm room to get ready to go out to eat
before they meet John at 7.
LS of Kim and Jennifer walking to the door.
Jennifer

Ugghhh....I'll be so glad when I'm done with that stupid paper.
Cut to MS of them entering the room. Jennifer unlocks and opens the door as
she talks.
Jennifer
---------
Are you sure you guys don't mind coming with me tonight?
Jennifer walks over to her desk and puts her books down and turns on the
stereo...Guns n' Roses' "I used to love her" is playing. Kim plops down
on the bed with her books.
I mean, John could just let me in and leave.
Cut to Kim falling on bed.
Kim

Not at all, besides, I don't have anything else to do, and wouldn't want
to leave you there by your self, something weird might happen.
CU of Jennifer
Jennifer

Well, ok, but it might be boring...
MS w/ part of Jennifer in frame. Kim picks up a picture of John that was on
the desk.
Kim
-----
Look, it will be anything BUT boring! I'll have John with me...remember??
Jennifer notices something on the back of the picture...Squints her eyes
looking at it.
Jennifer
---------
(Distant) Yeah, ok...What's that say?
CU of Kim
Kim
----
(Looking around) What's what?
Jennifer
---------
(Moving closer) That writing on the back of the picture, what does it say.
Kim turns picture around
CU of Kim
Kim
----
(Smiling) Oh! It says, "until death do us part, love John". John wants
to get married when we graduate ya know.
Kim nods and raises her eyebrows.
And I guess I'm ready to settle down.
MS of Jennifer and Kim
Jennifer sits down, somewhat saddened by Kim's last statement
Jennifer

You're so lucky to have John....I wish I was getting married, Gah, I just
wish I could MEET someone.
Kim notices Jennifer's expression. She wants to change the subject.
CU of Kim
Kim
-----
Well, you'll never meet anyone in here,
She gets up, camera follows and pulls back
let's go eat.
She takes hold of JenniferŐs arm and pulls her to the door
Maybe you'll meet someone in the library.
Jennifer
---------
Hmph...yeah, right!
They leave and the door closes
