including InstallShield 5.03, InstallShield Multi-Platform (ISMP11.5), and InstallAnywhere to develop installers for different
products and write the backend Java code for these installers. Provide defect support for installer
code.
- Communications
Server Security Developer (Jan 2003 – Mar 2007)
Developed IKE functionality, added NAT Traversal, AES cryptography, and
added GUI support in the Z/OS (OS390) Communications Server environment.
Duties included all cycles of the development phase, including design,
code/unit test, Functional Verification test, and defect support for
System Verification test. Projects completed in C/C++/Java. Led multiple line-items and was team
lead.
- L2 Secureway Firewall/Policy
Director for MQ Series Software Engineer (May 1999 - Dec 2003)
Provided in-depth technical support on IBM's Secureway
Firewall product and related applications. Secureway
Firewall included proxies, SOCKS, SMTP, NAT, and IP filtering. Related applications
included DNS, IP tracing, TCP/IP, routing, and the AIX and Windows
operating systems. Policy Director for MQ Series provided security for
IBM's legacy MQ Series messaging application. Customers included banks
and government agencies and required support on business critical
systems.
