Night Creature

Here's another classic B-Movie that's sure to put you to sleep! There's not really too much bad acting, because these people don't have to act! There's hardly any dialogue at all!

Anyway, heres the plot. Donald Plesants, from Halloween, is the main character. He's some important guy, and he likes to hunt big game. He's going to rebuild some ruins or something, but first he's gonna rid the villagers of some panther that keeps killing off the villagers. Needless to say the cat sneaks up behind him, he falls down, and something happens to his leg. His eyes get real big too.

So then, he's mad. He wants to kill this cat. He owns an island, so he pays $10,000 for some people to bring the cat to his island so he can hunt it. He gives everyone on the island two weeks off so he can kill this cat. So, he goes out hunting. Well, his family decides they're gonna visit him. So, they get there while he's out hunting. He comes close to his house one time, and he sees a light on, but he keeps hunting. I guess he thought he was being robbed or something...nothing to stop the hunt of course! And there's something strange about his family. One girl is completely American. The other one is half Chinese. They have the same mother but different fathers. Since the American girl's father isn't Donald Pleasance, that would mean the mother would have to be Chinese...but wait...that would make her half Chinese also...oh, well...I guess they couldn't get real actresses!

Ok, so anyway, they brought their dog. As soon as their boat docked, he jumped out, ran off, and got killed. So then the stupid little girl goes around saying "Socrates" about 5,000 times...that's the dog's name. You wish she would die, but she lives.

Now, they're all in the house except the little girl and Axel, who is Donald Pleasance. The girl finally makes her way to the house, and her mom gets her to change her clothes. While she's getting the girl changed, the guy she came with and her half-Chinese sister hook up! What a slut! Anyway, the girl wants to go look for the dead dog some more. So her and the mom go out and look. Now the panther comes! It kinda sucks because they always show him in slow motion. Anyway, the mother sees the panther and tells the little girl to run. The panther kills the mom. And, instead of running to the house, the little girl runs to some bridge where she gets stuck for a couple of days...payback for saying that dog's name so much!

Now Axel finds his dead daughter and he knows they've come to visit. He goes back to the house with the body, and everyone's sad for about 10 minutes, then they're over it. They also keep superimposing his face and the panther's face...I guess it's supposed to mean something. So now he goes to find the little girl. She's still on the bridge, but the panther is nearby. Axel fires off 5 stupid shots at it, then when he has a clear shot, he's out of bullets. So, he has to leave her there, and he goes back to the house.

The other guy tries to get to the boat, but all of the rain has washed it away. So, they're stuck. Finally, some guy they know comes to the island. They see him coming, but it's too late. The panther not only gets him, but drags him away too...pretty cool! So, then they decide to get the panther in the house so they can run to the boat. When the panther comes in the house, Axel and his half-Chinese daughter from an American woman run to the boat. The other guy goes to get the little girl. Axel gets out the flare gun and loads it...then he tips these barrels of gas over...cool! He's gonna burn the island, right? No! They go off in the boat, the panther comes running down, and Axel shoots the flare. The dock explodes, so I guess that cat can't drive a boat off of the island..good one! The fire doesn't even get him, so he's still there. They do one last superimposing of the cat and Axel, and the movie ends. I guess when all of his workers come back in two weeks they're gonna die. And if he ever comes back, I guess he will too!
