ALEXANDER J. CAPALDI
Alex Capaldi is a graduate student at North Carolina State University who is working on his doctorate in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Statistics under the advisory of Dr. Alun Lloyd. Alex also holds a Master's of Operations Research degree from NCSU. He grew up in Ferndale, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, and earned his B.S. in Applied Mathematics and his B.A. in Chemistry at Ferris State University in 2004.
Alex's research interests include mathematical modeling in epidemiology, parameter estimation, ordinary differential equation systems, numerical analysis and numerical methods for biological systems.
