We are developing novel chemical tools to elucidate biological processes. Our multidisciplinary research program involves the total synthesis of natural products, combinatorial and organometallic chemistry, photochemistry, nucleotide chemistry, as well as cell and molecular biology. Our research efforts are being generously supported by the Petroleum Research Fund, the March of Dimes Foundation, the Beckman Foundation, the Research Corporation, Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, and the National Institutes of Health.
