Proposal

A $10.00 annual Student Sustainability Investment will:

• Fund both short-term and long-term sustainable projects on-campus
• Provide sustainable research, education, and outreach

The NC State Sustainability Board will supervise the allocation of the invested funds for sustainable and eco-friendly projects on our campus.

Proposed board members:

• One Board of Trustee
• One Board of Visitor
• One alumnus with a professional interest in sustainability
• One administrator chosen by the Chancellor
• One staff member (chosen by the Staff Senate)
• One faculty member (chosen by the Faculty Senate)
• Three student members: one student government appointed member, and one inter-residence council appointed member, one Board of Directors appointed member.
• The campus sustainability officer as an ex-officio non-voting member.
