The mission of the NC State Sustainability Investment is to facilitate sustainability measures at NC State, which will uniquely position us to be the global, environmental, economical, and social steward that we strive to be.

The goals include:

• Informing our community about the importance of sustainability and encourage them to adopt such practices.
• Become the local, national, and global leader that encourages others to take action to incorporate sustainability.

The proposed student investment is only a temporary solution. It is a challenge to our current administration to assume responsibility for the funding and implementation of sustainable practices at North Carolina State University.
