The Learning, Aging, and Cognitive Ergonomics Lab

The LACE Lab adheres to the scientist-practictioner model. Research in this lab contributes to basic theories of learning and behavior while acknowledging the importance of applying this knowledge to your daily life. We are specifically interested in how learning changes across the lifespan, how we may best promote learning in all age groups, and how older adults may improve cognitive function.
