  • Involved in major research grants in utilization of biopolymers for new products, biofuels, life cycle analysis, and paper recycling.
  • Collaborated on $4,000,000 in awarded grants ($250,000/year).

     

Short Course Director of Hands On Pulp and Paper Basic Short Course

  • Directed and co-taught over 800 students in pulp and paper technology/science.  
  • Co-directed Tappi co-sponsored Hands On Workshop for Paper Recycling, 2005.
  • Directed about ten on-site pulp and paper technology short courses throughout the US.  Courses at pulp and paper mills as well as paper industry supplier sites.
