To be performed during class time, Monday Feb. 14 and Wed. Feb. 16
Form a troupe of 2-4 actors, choose any single scene or part of
a scene from the first 3 comedies that you think would be fun to try to
perfom; copy or scan the lines. You are not expected to memorize lines
but you may try if you wish (use a prompter if you do!).
Costumes, props welcome but optional. Practice saying your lines with
accuracy and spirit and aim for some entertaining interplay between
actors, since witty repartee is the soul of Restoration comedy.
The amount of time all the troupes have to perform is t.b.a and will
depend on how many opt for acting vs. teaching.
