Clearly Behn's "The Golden Age" is concerned with the myth of the golden age, as popularized by Ovid, but what is the whole poem's attitude toward that golden age? How can we tell? Use your close-reading skills to form a brief argument explaining your answer.

 Good close readings consider the nuances of language prominent in literature, including rhetoric, point of view, prosody, allusions, metaphors, metre, rhyme. Focus on anything that you feel is most relevant to discuss and necessary to explian your answer.
