Multi-stage protocol for surveying sturgeon population status

The goal of this project is to develop a multi-stage survey protocol that can be used to determine status of sturgeon populations. The expected approach is use a combination of sonar gears (side-scan and DIDSON) along with conventional netting and capture-recapture methods.
