Migratory patterns and spawning habitat for anadromous shads in the Roanoke River, North Carolina

The overall goal of this project is to understanding the life history, migration and spawning habitat requirements of Alosa species. Increasing the quality and quantity of upstream habitats, in combination with fishing regulations, may be an effective strategies for restoring depleted populations.
