I love my work and, within reason, can be persuaded to find any emerging or historical use of technology related to instruction and learning worth investigating. My current projects emphasize the design of communication, instruction and learning with technology, and web usability.

Teach courses as part of T&D Online program at NC State. Served on the NC State LITRE (Learning in a Technology-Rich Environment) Assessment Committee—developing a framework of everyday instructional
situations (PDF | HTML)—as the Faculty Representative for the ClassTech Project (see presentations), and as a board member of Innovate: journal of online education. Currently presenting on online plagiarismand online identity formation, and experimenting with settings for social networking and instruction and learning.
