SCENES FROM THE 2009 NETI

The 2009 National Effective Teaching Institute took place in Austin at the Austin Hilton Hotel on June 11-13, 2009.

                                               

The NETI facilitators were Rebecca Brent, Rich Felder, Mike Prince, and Jim Stice.

57 participants from 38 institutions spent three days working on different aspects of teaching with the facilitators and one another. Sometimes they listened to the facilitators

           

and often they worked individually or in small groups, sometimes joined by one of the facilitators.

       

   

       

   

       

Whenever anybody needed anything, Kat was right there to provide it. (She's on the right, standing with Raissa, one of the participants.)


The lunches, breaks, and reception provided opportunities for more interactions, both on and off the workshop topic.

       

Everyone was in a good enough mood at lunch on the last day to pose for group pictures.

       

       

       

As the pictures suggest, a fine time was had by all.
