Changes in Tutorial 1. Numbers in brackets are frames.
- [3.3]
-- In the first paragraph, change 0.35 to 0.350 and change 2 to
2.0.
-- On the last line, change 3.5 to 0.350 (3 occurrences), change 2 to 2.0 (4
occurrences), and 3 to 0.350 (last bullet).
-- In the equation that comes up when any of the last buttons
are pushed, change 2 to 2.0 and 3.5 to 0.350.
Changes in Tutorial 3. Numbers in brackets are frames.
- [5.1] In the list of variables given in response to the correct answer for the "Number of Unknown Variables," the variable n5 should be included and n9 should be omitted.
Changes in Tutorial 4. Numbers in brackets are frames.
- [2.2] In the list of variables given at the upper left when "Show Flowchart" is clicked, the units of (1-xS3) and xS3 should be mol ___/mol (not mol/s)
Changes in Tutorial 5. Numbers in brackets are frames.
- [5.1] There are three boxes in which the right-hand sides of material balance equations are to be inserted. The second and third boxes should be labeled "Benzene balance" and "Toluene balance" instead of vice versa.
- [6.1] When you click on Q on the flow chart, the equation in the window that appears should read Q = &DeltaH (kJ/s) [not Q = Q(kJ/s)]
- [7.1] In the E-Z Solve window that comes up when the "Go to E-Z Solve" button is clicked, 2 lines below the expressions for the fractions vaporized, "Entalpies" should be replaced with "Enthalpies"
- [8.2] Line 7 of the "Answer" dialog box should begin with "contains 21.6% benzene" (not 62.2%)
Changes in Tutorial 6. Numbers in brackets are frames.
- [4.1] Change 1.75 atm to 5.00 atm in "Specifications" box
- [4.2]
-- Change 1.75 atm to 5.00 atm in "Specifications" box
-- Change 3rd number on Line 5 of main window from 1.75 to 5.00
-- On last line of main window, change 1.75 to 5.00
- [4.3]
-- In last equation in box at upper left, change 1.75 to 5.00
-- In E-Z Solve window that comes up when "Go to E-Z Solve" is clicked, change 1.75 to 5.00
- [5.1]
-- In upper product stream of flow chart, change 933 L to 327 L and change 1.75 atm to 5.00 atm
-- In lower product stream of flow chart, change 1.75 atm to 5.00 atm
- [5.2] Same changes as for [5.1]
- [5.3] Same changes as for [5.1]
- [6.1] In upper product stream of flow chart, make range of pressure box 3.50 atm to 6.50 atm. (It currently is 1 atm to 3 atm.) The pressure shown in the lower product stream labeling should still track the one for the upper stream.

- The heat capacity formulas for ethyl alcohol (ethanol) and ethylene were programmed incorrectly, so enthalpy changes calculated for these substances are wrong.
