Lesson 13: Rapid Cooling
and Euler-trapezoid
The objective of this lesson is to introduce
stiff differential equations and some stiff numerical methods. Stiff
differential equations have solutions that have very large derivatives, and
therefore, special numerical methods are needed. One application is to rapidly
cooling objects.
