Grading for Professor White’s Sections 001 and 002 in Spring of 2008:

Quizzes: 16 points.

Lessons n = 1 or 4 or 7 or 10 or 13: No homework to hand in.

Lessons n+1, or n+2: 17 points plus 3 points extra credit on each.

All homework should be done in MSword, and they should be submitted electronically via submit.

The deadlines for the lesson’s homework are the following Tuesdays at noon.

You may work in pairs, and in this case turn in one report with BOTH your names on the report.

A+ = 98-100, A = 93-97+, A- = 90-92+

B+ = 88-89+, B = 83-87+, B- = 80-82+

C+ = 78-79+, C = 73-77+, C- = 70-72+

D+ = 68-69+, D = 63-67+, D- = 60-62+

1-10-08: Read lesson 1, and duplicate the Matlab calculations. There is no homework to hand in.

1-17-08: Read lesson 2, and duplicate the Matlab calculations. You must do the homework for either lesson 2 or 3. The highest score will be counted toward your course grade. If you do the homework for lesson 2, hand it in via submit by noon Tuesday 1-22-08.

1-24-08: Read lesson 3, and duplicate the Matlab calculations. You must do the homework for either lesson 2 or 3. The highest score will be counted toward your course grade. If you do the homework for lesson 3, hand it in via submit by noon Tuesday 1-29-08.

1-31-08: Read lesson 4, and duplicate the Matlab calculations. There is no homework to hand in.  There will be an in class ten-minute quiz.…see some sample questions.

2-07-08: Read lesson 5, and duplicate the Matlab calculations. You must do the homework for either lesson 5 or 6. The highest score will be counted toward your course grade. If you do the homework for lesson 5, hand it in via submit by noon Tuesday 2-12-08.
