General Information
I am currently a Masters student in Computer Science at North Carolina State University. I earned a B.S. in Pure Mathematics with minors in music (piano/voice) and computer science at UNC-Greensboro in 2004. My primary focus had been in music until halfway through my third year when I decided I no longer wanted to be an elementary school music teacher. At this point, I switched my focus to math and finally took my required introductory programming course, which in turn made me want to take more interesting computer science courses. After earning the math degree, I continued my studies at UNC-Charlotte in 2005, where I finished a B.S. in Computer Science.
My current research interests relate to artificial intelligence, game design and education. My thesis work will deal with natural language generation, under the advisement of Dr. Nancy Green (a visiting professor from UNC-Greensboro) and Dr. James C. Lester.
