Departmental positions:

Director of Undergraduate Advising for the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. I assist foreign language majors and minors as well as students across campus who participate in Study Abroad programs. I work with incoming freshmen and transfer students and coordinate visits for prospective students.
Co-director of the French and Spanish Teacher Education program and Program Coordinator for alternative licensure in Spanish and French, including students in the NC Teach Program. I work with undergraduate majors in French and Spanish with licensure option and individuals who already hold an undergraduate degree and wish to add NC licensure to teach Spanish or French in public schools. The Lateral Entry program is designed for individuals who hold a job teaching Spanish and the Licensure-only program is designed for those who do not.
Section Coordinator of lower division Spanish courses in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. I oversee the syllabi and exams for FLS 101, 102, 105, 110, 201, 202 and 210 , working closely with the coordinators of those courses. I also work with new Spanish section faculty who are assigned to teach the courses.
