Welcome!! I have been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management at North Carolina State University since January 2006. Prior to that I taught at University of New Hampshire for five years.

I am originally from London, England but moved to North America in 1993. I have lived and worked in Nova Scotia, Canada; New Hampshire, Texas and now North Carolina. The majority of my research as well as my work outside of academia has involved working with children, youth and adolescents.

Outside of work I love playing in the outdoors particularly hiking in the mountains, running, reading, biking, traveling, watching my beloved Arsenal, and spending time with my wife Melanie.
