The USDA-ARS/NCSU maize breeding and genetics program aims to understand and exploit the vast diversity of maize found worldwide to enhance the genetic base of the U.S. corn crop.   

We are part of the USDA-ARS Plant Science Research Unit and are located in the Department of Crop Science, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC.
