Homework

Homework will be assigned each Wednesday and due the following Wednesday. It will consist of a list of problems from the book. All assignments are mandatory and there are no late submissions or make ups. If you know you will be absent the day an assignment is due you can turn it in early.

If you have questions on an assignment (or about anything in the course) you have a few available ressources: you can come to my office hours, ask your questions in the discussion board of the Webct website for the class, send me an e-mail or you can get free tutoring and help at the Mathematics Multimedia Center, located in HA 244 (http://www.math.ncsu.edu/mmc/index.html).

Attendance

The attendance policy is consistent with the Academic Regulations of the University. You are required to attend both the lectures and the recitations. You are also required to be on time, if you're late, you'll be marked as absent. You must sit in your assigned seat in order for attendance to be properly recorded. BOTH excused and unexcused absences are counted.

As a bonus reward for students with good attendance records, those students missing 3 or fewer class days may drop their lowest test grade. This includes a test missed without a university excused absence. Note: Both excused and unexcused absences count against this bonus.
