Final Projects
General subject of the projects:
"Application of linear algebra in higher mathematics and in other disciplines"

You have to submit a
proposal for project with deadline November 1st.
The proposal must consists of:

  • Title
  • Abstract (about 1/2 page)
  • List of articles and/or book chapters you will read

Upon approval of your project proposal by the instructor, you will have to write  an essay of maximum 3 pages long, which summarizes what you read for your project, emphasizing the application of linear algebra. The deadline for the essay is December 1st. You will also have to give a 10 minutes presentation to the instructor, explaining the findings of your research.

Homework and Test Policies

Late homework is not accepted, because I hand out solution sets.

Missed tests are not allowed unless an official written (medical, legal) excuse is presented before the test, or in emergency cases at most one week after the test.
