Prerequisites:

MA 242

Class Description: Operations with complex numbers, derivatives, analytic functions, integrals, elementary functions, multivalued functions, power series, residue theory and applications
Class Policy:

Regular class attendance is expected. Homework will not be collected. However, solving homework problems is an important part of preparation for tests in the class. Personal travel plans cannot be considered as a reason for making up the exams. 

Exams: • Exam 1: Tuesday,  February 26
• Exam 2: Tuesday, April 1 (tentative)
• Final Exam: Thursday, May 1, 1:00–4:00
Grading: • Exams 60%
• Final Exam 40%
• Grading Scale: 86%–100%: A, 76%–85%: B, 66%–75%: C, 56%–65%: D, less than 56%: F
Calculators: Simple (nonprogrammable) calculators are allowed
