Welcome

Hi, I am Deepa. I am working for my Doctoral degree in Computer Science at the North Carolina State University (NCSU). I am part of Prof. Rudra Dutta's Research group.

Updates - January 2007

News: I have been selected to attend CRA-W's Grad Cohort Workshop in San Francisco. I am very excited to be part of CRA-W's workshop. This is my first trip to California. :)
News: Finally I managed to create this website :)

Research

My research areas of interest include computer networks, optical networks, wireless sensor and mesh networks and cryptography. I am currently working on Network Coding Theory to be used an a tool in my thesis research. I hope to add more description to about my research in the coming weeks.

I work with Prof. Rudra Dutta at NC State for my PhD. I am also a teaching assistant for Human Computer Interaction for Spring 2007.
