What's so funny?

Humor is actually something fairly interesting from the philosophical point of view. It's actually quite difficult to explain why something strikes most people as funny. I take it as obvious that there's not some kind of objective property of "being humorous" that exists on a par with properties like mass, charge, or even color. There's plenty of funny stuff out there in cyberspace. This is a collection of stuff that I find particularly amusing.

To start, of course, there is The Onion, America's Finest News Source.

Don't pass up the chance to check out the latest from the White House (I find the reader mail to whitehouse.org particularly amusing or disturbing, depending on my mood).

This site deserves a place of honor among the funniest on the web, but the author didn't intend it that way. If you're even minimally competent with Photoshop, the images on that site offer the prospect of some serious amusement.
