| My Name is Cary Rivard, and I am a graduate student at NC State University. My work at NC State focuses on the benefits of using grafted tomatoes for field and greenhouse production. More specifically, this technique can provide for disease resistance and increased crop productivity without hindering fruit quality. It can be especially useful for organic farmers who seek alternative methods for disease management.
Working with Dr. Frank Louws and other faculty across campus, we have developed several research objectives to better suit tomato grafting technology for NC growers. |
