• I have begun work on the ESEM 2009 Website.
• I just got back from SESS 2008 which was in conjunection with ICSE 2008 in Leipzig, Germany. My pictures are now available on Google Photo.
• The Reviews have been completed on the Empirical Software Engineering (EmSE) paper we submitted in February--I should be getting a decision soon!
• The new RealSearch Website is coming around.

Ben Smith is a first year PhD student in Computer Science at North Carolina State University working as an RA under Dr. Laurie Williams. He received his Bachelor's in Computer Science in May of 2007 and he hopes to receive his doctorate in 2012.

He has begun work on developing SQL Coverage Metrics; more detail can be found in his SESS 2008 Paper on the subject. This fall, he will be beginning the Doctoral Preliminary Exam (CSC890) and working as a Testing Manager for the NCSU CSC Senior Design Center--North Carolina State's capstone course for CSC!

He has also written an open source plugin, MuClipse which incorperates mutation testing into the popular IDE Eclipse. He has submitted an extended work on an empirical user study with Mutation Analysis tools to JSS. Additionally, he has designed and created the website for the Center for Open Software Engineering, and written several tutorials for open source (and proprietary) software development tools.
